Heart changes
Mountain ranges
I’m still somehow always amazed
Something budding is there
Electric in the air
I can’t say I’m certain, or that this for sure is worth it.
But I do think this is as close as it gets to perfect.
Climb the peak
Drink from the stream
The way it felt on that rock and you next to me.
You are the diver
I am the sea
All encompassing transcendence, making it difficult to breathe.
You’ll find treasure in depths unknown but know you don’t have to do it alone.
Kellyann Bates is a traveling artist and barista, gathering inspiration far and wide.
She has lived in New Orleans on and off for the past six years, going to UNO for studio arts and traveling cross country. As a painter and poet, the medium she uses is inspired by flow. The movement and change of things with time are a constant in life that she chooses to embrace.
