NOFD Fighting 2-Alarm Fire in Treme


The New Orleans Fire Department is fighting a 2-alarm fire in the Treme neighborhood.

At around 1:15 p.m., flames were spotted at a building near 1-10, at 1733 Gov. Nicholls St in the Treme. The fire quickly intensified to two-alarm status, sending smoke over 1-10.

As of 1:45 p.m., the building was still on fire.
