The Causeway Bridge has been closed to traffic in both directions following a crash that resulted in a car catching fire, according to Causeway Police.
Due to an accident, the Causeway – Northbound, Causeway – Southbound is closed at this time. Estimated time till bridge opens is 2 Hours. Updates to follow.

A video posted on Twitter by one driver shows the fire, with the vehicle completely engulfed in flames. The accident occurred in the southbound lane at mile marker 11.7.
