Photos: Baton Rouge Police Department Shows High Water Level Near LSU

Photos posted by the Baton Rouge Police Department show the Mississippi River near River Rd. north and south of the LSU campus nearing the top of the levee.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will open the Morganza Spillway on Sunday, June 1 in an attempt to lower the water level and take pressure off the levees, relieving any flooding threat.
