Community Spotlight: trepwise Announces Corporate Social Responsibility Program

In an era when many corporations are more interested in profits over people, New Orleans-based consulting firm trepwise is taking a different approach.

On Wednesday, the company announced its new corporate social responsibility program, dubbed “trepwork for good.” The program is intended to harness the various corporate resources – social, financial, and intellectual – and use them to promote more social and economic inclusion across New Orleans. This will be accomplished through a number of initiatives, including pro bono work and other philanthropic programs to reach both organizations and individuals who usually wouldn’t have access to the types of consulting services that trepwork offers.

Some early participants include SisterHearts and the LGBT Community Center of New Orleans, both of which received direct consulting services and support for their organizations. trepwise partnered with social impact accelerators Fund 17 and Propeller to help entrepreneurs scale. As a growth consulting firm, trepwise specializes in helping companies and organizations reach their full potential.

According to a press release sent by the company, the trepwork for good program will consist of various key initiatives, including:

  • In-kind services
  • Financial sponsorships
  • Firm-wide volunteer days
  • Employee matching gifts
  • Pro bono work

If you would like to nominate an organization for the trepwork for good program, you can email Lulu Carter at lulu@trepwise.com.
