If you are a business owner, there’s a good chance that you have heard about Instagram. It’s one of the fastest-growing social media networks, and it is quickly becoming one of the most popular platforms for businesses to share their content with their customers. Instagram currently has around one billion active users, and this is no surprise, with the number of methods available for growth. Some of these methods include using influencers, partnering with other brands or even using services like TaskAnt to find trending hashtags to use with each post.

In this blog post, we’ll show you how to set up an account on Instagram so your business can start sharing content today. Since just having the profile isn’t enough, we will also provide you with some tips on getting started the right way and finding the audience that can turn into potential clients for your business.

Download the app and create an account

First, download the Instagram app, which you will find on Google Play Store if you have an Android device, Apple App Store for iOS, and Microsoft Store for Windows Phones. Don’t forget to check the app’s compatibility with your device.  What is good about Instagram is that it is optimized for smartphones; thus, you can use it wherever you go. Once the Instagram app is downloaded and installed, tap on the icon to open it. Tap “Sign up” and enter the essential information that will be connected with your account – your email address or your phone number, business name, and brand username. Also, choose the profile photo that will represent your business, such as your company’s logo or a professional headshot. The final step is to convert your profile to a business account. You will do that by clicking the three-dot icon in the top right corner, then click settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account. Select the category of your business, add in business information, tap “Done” and you are set up.

Create a great profile

It is important to understand that Instagram is a visual platform, and most of the effect will come through content that will be appealing to the eye. After you have created a profile that explains who you are and what your business does, you should focus on the content that will fulfill your profile. Start by posting photos and videos that will appear on your Instagram feed. They will further explain your business’s story and represent who you are. You can edit your photos through various effects that can enhance their quality. You can also use a Instagram post generator. Next, find the people to follow.  Search for friends, brands, celebrities, hashtags on the Explore page (magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your screen). This way, you will start making connections with more people through time and find potential customers. Finally, add Instagram Stories and Highlights to help your audience see your business background and a more personal story. You can display your work on the spot or show parts of your projects’ process.

Find a niche

This is an essential step for your business because Instagram is not just about having thousands of followers and gaining a million of likes. Instagram followers and mehr Instagram Likes can be bought. Your focal point should be the audience interested in what you do, and that will interact with it by liking, commenting, and sharing the content, you create. This will lead to high activity on your profile, attracting many potential clients for your business. That’s why you have to choose your niche, which is the type of content that you post. The more specific it is – the better. Try not to select a too saturated one; otherwise, you will find yourself surrounded by too much competition. If you choose the right, distinct niche, you will attract the audience with the interests connected to your business, turning them into potential customers. Your content should match what you do and what your brand is all about.

Use influencers to boost your account

Influencers can heavily boost your progress, especially if connected to your niche. They have a strong reputation for their expertise and knowledge on a specific topic. They also have a large audience made of enthusiastic, engaged people that closely follow all their activities. There are several types of influencers. Mega-Influencers are celebrities with more than 1 million followers. Macro-influencers count between 40,000 and one million followers and can be highly impactful and helpful for companies to promote their business to a big audience. However, some influencers purchase their followers and can engage in fraud, so be careful about this category. Micro-influencers are everyday people that have between 1,000 and 40,000 followers, and they are the best way to get more followers for Instagram. Since they are cautious not to lose their audience, these influencers can be picky in who they work with. Nano-influencers have less than 1,000 followers. Although they have a smaller number of followers, they are willing to listen to their opinions. They are inexpensive to hire, but their audience isn’t ample for reaching a broad audience.
