They get into an assault that forced the pimp to get killed in an attempt to save Murtaugh. The movie has classic suspense along with some moments that will make you laugh as well.

Both of them have a dark past as gangsters. Doc is assigned by Claphands to kill Val while just out of prison Val needs to party. Doc takes him to a brothel but he fails to perform in the first go. They break into a pharmacy late at night and steal several bottles of drugs and get overdosed on Viagra. Val has sex with one of the prostitutes and has the time of his life. Doc still feels for Val who does not know that Claphands has called for a hit on Val and after several attempts, he cannot kill him. Both of them get along some amazing moments that are a blend of comedy that you can expect from an Al Pacino and Christopher Walken movie.
