Elon Musk Challenges Vladimir Putin to a Duel
Tech billionaire Elon Musk challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin to a “single combat” for the fate of Ukraine. In a tweet Musk put out Monday, he wrote in Cyrillic letters the words “Vladimir Putin” and “Ukraine.” Putin called Musk a “weakling” and a “little devil.”
Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov, a Kremlin ally, called Musk “effeminate,” so Musk retaliated by changing his name on Twitter to “Elona.”

Senate Approves Bill To Make Daylight Saving Time Permanent
On Tuesday, the United States Senate unanimously passed legislation, called the Sunshine Protection Act, to make daylight saving time permanent starting in 2023, which would thus end the twice-annual clock changing moves across the country. The movement was promoted to advocate for brighter afternoons and more economic activity.
The House of Representatives, which has held a committee hearing on the issue, must pass the bill still prior to it being signed by President Joe Biden.

Zelenskyy asks Congress for No-Fly Zone
In an emotional plea to the United States Congress on Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked the US to help create a no-fly zone over Ukrainian skies and to provide more weapons to bolster the country’s combat against Russia.
Zelenskyy asked in his virtual address through a translator if it was “too much to ask” for the US to create a no-fly zone as well as provide air defense systems to his country, such as the Russian-made S-300 surface-to-air missile system. Zelenskyy ended his speech with video of the devastation within his country.
