Biden to Appeal Suit on Mask Use on Public Transportation

After stating that it was up to the individual person, the White House announced Tuesday that it intends to appeal the court ruling that overturned the federal mask mandate on public transportation.

The latest mask mandate for travel was extended by two weeks to May 3, but a Florida federal judge nullified the ruling.

Ezra Miller Arrested for Second-Degree Assault

Just weeks after being arrested for alleged disorderly conduct and harassment, “The Flash” actor Ezra Miller has been arrested for alleged second-degree assault in Hawaii. Miller, 29, was arrested for reportedly throwing a chairing and striking a female on the forehead resulting in a cut. Miller has since been released from jail.

London Court Send Julian Assange’s Handover Order

London Court issued a formal extradition order in a hearing for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange Wednesday, where he was sent a handover order to the British government for approval. This now moves Assange one step closer to returning to the United States, where he is set to be tried under the Espionage Act.

Assange is wanted in the US on 18 criminal charges after his WikiLeaks published thousands of classified documents in 2010. If convicted, he could face up to 175 years in prison.
