Emergent BioSolutions Destroyed Evidence of Vaccine Control Problems
Emergent BioSolutions concealed evidence last year from the Food and Drug Administration in regards to potential problems with their Covid-19 vaccination production failure and its contamination, while destroying doses, as revealed to a House panel. Nearly 400 million Covid-19 vaccine doses were destroyed at Emergent BioSolution’s facility due to the company’s “failure to meet or maintain quality standards,” a congressional report released on Tuesday said.
Cross-contamination of the Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca vaccinations was discovered in March of 2021. No contaminated doses made it to the public.

House Approves Ukraine Aid Package
The United States House approved a $40 billion Ukraine aid package Tuesday night in a vote 368 to 57. The package will go onto the Senate and then President Joe Biden.
The bill provides more military and humanitarian aid than the president had requested.

Al Jazeera Journalist Killed in West Bank
Al Jazeera’s Palestinian journalist, Shireen Abu Akelah, was shot by Israeli forces during a raid into Jenin refugee camp in an occupied part of the West Bank. She was shot in the face despite wearing a press vest.
Another Palestinian journalist, Ali al-Samoudi, was wounded in the back and is in stable condition.
