Higgins Votes Against Expanding WIC To Aid Baby Formula Shortage
Representative Clay Higgins (R-LA) was one of nine to vote against passing a bill that would address the current baby formula shortage by temporarily expanding access to formula for low-income families through WIC benefits.
Higgins defended his vote in a statement to KLFY stating that by allowing existing supplies of baby formula to be available to those on the WIC program it would “decrease the availability of baby formula for working American families at every income level across the country.”

Covid-19 vaccine produces strong immune response for 6 months to 5 years
Three child-size doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine appear to be helpful and safe to children ages 6 months to 5 years, as the vaccine makers are submitting the final trial data to the US Food and Drug Administration this week.
The company suggests three child-size doses for the youngest group.
