Shooter Was In Texas School For Up To An Hour Before Law Enforcement Acted
The gunman was on the Uvalde, Texas elementary school premises for up to an hour, which resulted in 19 students and two teachers being killed, before law enforcement forcibly entered a classroom and killed him, officials announced Wednesday.
Videos show parents pleading with the police to act.

Seven Nations To Halt Funding For New Fossil Fuel Projects
The Group of Seven (G7) — which consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States — agreed to end governmental financing for international coal-fired power generation, which will hopefully phase out unabated coal plants by 2035.
The aim is to have “predominantly decarbonized electricity sectors by 2035.”
