Memo Written By Trump Attorney Lays Out Plan to Oust Pence

A new memo has been released in the investigation into the attack on the United States Capitol, which was written by former US President Donald Trump’s attorney Kenneth Chesebro and spells out a multi-day plan to take then-Vice President Mike Pence out of control of the electoral certification in the Senate.

The memo suggests that Pence should have recused himself and handed the position to someone like senior GOP Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

Famous Elvis-Themed Wedding Ceremonies in Vegas Could Come to an End

The licensing company that controls the name and image of Elvis Presley is ordering Los Vegas chapel operators to stop using the rock and roll singer’s likeliness in their ceremonies, after a cease-and-desist letter was sent to multiple chapels in early May.

The city’s wedding industry generates $2 billion each year, with Elvis-themed weddings representing a large proportion of that.

French Open Director Says Women’s Tennis Has Less “Appeal”

Amelie Mauresmo, who serves as the French Open’s first female tournament director, said that nine of the 10 night sessions involved men’s matches because women’s tennis has less “appeal” currently.

Mauresmo — who is a French former world No. 1 tennis player, known for her one-handed backhand — said she tried to find a female pairing that had the star power or matchup that was worthy of the time slot highlight, but that she had to “admit it was tough.”
