Supreme Court Overturns Roe v. Wade

The Supreme Court decided to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade, which will eliminate the constitutional right to abortion and lead to all but total bans on the procedure in about half of the United States.

President Biden called the court’s decision the “realization of extreme ideology.”

Companies Offer To Cover Travel Expenses for Employee Abortions

Several of the nation’s largest companies are combatting the Supreme Court’s ruling by offering to reimburse employees who now must travel out of state to access legal and safe abortion services.

Many already covered abortion care under their health plans, but a number — including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Disney, Meta, Condé Nast, Zillow, and BuzzFeed, among others — announced today that they will expand their benefits even further.

Jupiter “Eats” Other Planets

Based on data gathered by the Juno probe, it seems like Jupiter had previously “swallowed” tiny planets — or planetesimals — and space rocks to grow.

Jupiter, the fifth planet from the Sun, is the largest planet in our Solar System and has a mass more than two and a half times that of all the other planets combined.
