Texas GOP Claims Nancy Pelosi “Pushed” Her Daughter
Representative Mayra Flores (R-Texas) says that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-California) pushed Flores’ daughter during the new congresswoman’s swear-in ceremony last week.
In a tweet, Flores wrote that she was proud of her daughter for “not allowing this to faze her.” Pelosi’s Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill tweeted that “news outlets” were misrepresenting the Speaker’s effort to make sure Flores’ daughters weren’t hidden from view in the photos.
