US President has Covid-19
United States President Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19, and his symptoms “have improved” over the last 24 hours, according to his physician.
Biden was provided with an albuterol inhaler, which is to be used as needed, and he continues to take Paxlovid, Pfizer’s antiviral drug.
The White House continues to work.

Bannon Convicted on Two Accounts of Contempt
Stephen Bannon, who served as a top adviser to the former President Donald Trump, was convicted Friday of two counts of contempt of Congress following his defiance against a subpoena to answer questions from the House Select Committee that is investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
Bannon’s is the first conviction of a close aide to Trump.

New York Report First US Polio Case In A Decade
An unvaccinated adult in New York recently contracted polio, marking the first case of the disease in the U.S. in nearly a decade.
The patient developed paralysis but did not recently travel outside of the country.
