JetBlue and Spirit Merge
JetBlue announce a deal to buy Spirit Airlines Thursday, which owl create America’s fifth-largest airline.
JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes said the deal will be positive for both investors and passengers.

Schumer-Manchin Bill to Ease Inflation, Climate Change
Senators Joe Manchin and Chuck Schumer agreed to the Inflation Reduction Act Wednesday, addressing climate change, healthcare and making an impact on inflation.
The bill will reduce the deficit by more than $300 billion over the next decade.
