Trump Claims Passports Seized During FBI Raids
Former President Donald Trump is claiming the FBI siezed his passports during their raid on Mar-a-Lago, sparking questions of whether he is a flight risk. In a Truth Social post, the former president claimed that the FBI took all three of his passports, labeling it “an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country.”

US Repels Drone Attack on Coalition Base in Syria
According to US forces, an attempted drone attack in the vicinity of the al-Tanf near the Syrian border resulted in no damage and no casualties. The base is used to train Syrian forces on how to repel and counter Islamic State fighters in the country. The base is also established along a key road from Tehran to Lebanon used by Iranian-backed forces.

Iran Blames Rushdie and Supporters for Attack
Nasser Kanaani, spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that author Salman Rushdie and his supporters are worthy of condemnation, accusing him of denigrating the world’s Muslims, and used that claim to blame them for Friday’s attack on Rushdie.
In this regard, no one can blame the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added. We believe that the insults made and the support he received was an insult against followers of all religions.
In 1989, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ruholla Khomeini issued an edict demanding the author’s death, and that edict remains in effect today.
