Arkansas Police Officers Suspended After Brutal Beating

Three Arkansas police officers (two Crawford County sheriff’s deputies and one Mulberry police officer) were suspended after a video surfaced of two of the officers brutally beating a man outside a gas station while the third officer held the man down. The suspect, Randal Worcester, 27, of Goose Creek, South Carolina was taken to the hospital for treatment before being released into the Van Buren County jail.

Russia Blames Ukraine for Car Bombing

Russia is blaming the Ukrainian secret service for the car bombing death of Russian political commentator Darya Dugina. Dugina’s father, Alexander Dugin is a philosopher, writer, and political theorist who ardently supports Russian President Vladimir Putin.

US Battles Overlapping Health Crisis

Overlapping health emergencies has some health officials concerned as the country moves towards cold and flu season. Outbreaks of monkeypox and polio have only added to the strain caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, and some experts are worried that health clinics no longer have the funding or staff to facilitate flu vaccinations.
