Justice Dept. Recommends Six-Month Sentence for Bannon

The Justice Department is recommending a six-month prison sentence plus a $200,000 fine for former Donald Trump aide Stephen Bannon. Bannon was found guilty of willfully disobeying a subpoena from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack. A judge is set to sentence Bannon on Friday.

Serum Institute to Produce Vaccine for Ebola Outbreak

The Serum Institute of India will manufacture 20,000 to 30,000 doses of an experimental vaccine for use in trials to help combat an Ebola outbreak in Uganda, the company announced. Currently, there is no proven vaccine against the Sudan strain of the virus, which killed 19 and infected 54 people in the country last week.
