Threat of Rail Strike Rising Again
Rank and file members of a second rail union have rejected a tentative labor deal made between union leaders and rail companies in September, further raising the odds that rail workers will strike next month. So far The Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen and the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees District have rejected the deal, in part because of a lack of sick days included in the deal.

Lawsuit Filed to Stop Voter Intimidation in Arizona
The Arizona chapter of the League of Women Voters has filed a federal lawsuit in the hope of preventing vigilante groups from engaging in voter intimidation. According to the lawsuit, six groups – including two related to the Oath Keepers – coordinated in an effort they called “Operation Drop Box” to intimidate voters.
