FBI Warns of ‘Broad Threat’ to NJ Synagogues
The FBI warned Thursday afternoon it received “credible information of a broad threat to synagogues” in New Jersey. The agency says it is taking a “proactive measure,” but still asked that individual synagogues take precautions to protect themselves and their communities.
“We ask at this time that you take all security precautions to protect your community and facility. We will share more information as soon as we can. Stay alert. In case of emergency, call police,” read a post from the FBI office in Newark, New Jersey.

Saints WR Michael Thomas Placed on Injured Reserve
New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver Michael Thomas has been placed on injured reserve after treatment for a dislocated toe was ineffective. Thomas will now receive surgery on his foot, according to head coach Dennis Allen.
“The toe did not respond how we were hoping. …It hadn’t healed the way everybody was kind of hoping that it would,” Allen said on Thursday.

Political cartoons including a racist depiction of Sen. Raphael Warnock of Georgia and a cartoon suggesting Ohio candidate for Senate Tim Ryan would release drug traffickers from prison are among the attempts.
