The New Orleans Super Bowl LIX Host Committee, led by the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the New Orleans Saints, kicked off the Bridge 2 Innovation program with a vibrant pep rally at Edna Karr High School. The event brought together nearly 300 students for an immersive day of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) exploration and career inspiration.
The high-energy rally featured a panel discussion with leaders from Bridge 2 Innovation’s key partners, including Chevron, Dow Chemical Co., Entergy, Ochsner Health, and Venture Global. Students were also treated to interactive STEM demonstrations, courtesy of STEM NOLA, where they got hands-on experience with innovative technologies and scientific concepts. Participants left with exclusive Bridge 2 Innovation school supplies and newfound enthusiasm for STEM-related career paths.
“Bridge 2 Innovation, as part of our Super Bowl LIX legacy, offers a powerful opportunity to create lasting impact on our local students,” said Jay Cicero, president and CEO of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and the Super Bowl LIX Host Committee. “This initiative is about connecting young people with the possibilities of STEM, opening doors to new ideas, opportunities, and pathways for success, helping shape the leaders of tomorrow. Thank you to our Host Committee partners for making this vision a reality.”
