A major shift is coming to Louisiana’s commercial real estate landscape. NAI Latter & Blum, the state’s largest and one of its most iconic commercial real estate brokerages, will officially rebrand as NAI Rampart on June 1, 2025, marking a return to Louisiana-based ownership and a bold new chapter under the umbrella of Rampart/Wurth Holding Inc.
The rebranding follows Rampart/Wurth’s acquisition of NAI Latter & Blum earlier this year and reflects a strategic alignment with the parent company’s growing real estate empire, headquartered in New Orleans. According to company officials, the move is part of a broader plan to unify operations, boost innovation, and double down on the firm’s commitment to local expertise while maintaining access to global networks through NAI Global.
“NAI Rampart represents strength, continuity and our investment in building a modern brokerage platform,” said Karl Landreneau, director of commercial sales and leasing. “While our name is evolving, our core values — local knowledge, national reach, and a relationship-first approach — remain exactly the same.”
With more than 100 years of history behind it, the firm has played a central role in shaping Louisiana’s commercial, industrial, and multifamily real estate markets. The transition to NAI Rampart signals not only a name change but also a reaffirmation of the firm’s deep local roots. Longtime leadership — including Landreneau, Joseph Pappalardo Sr., Michael Ricci, and Joseph Pappalardo Jr. — will remain in place as the company continues to grow.
Rampart/Wurth Holding Inc., which now oversees over 10,000 multifamily units, 1,000 single-family homes, and 20 million square feet of commercial real estate across the Gulf South, is consolidating its subsidiaries — including Rampart Commercial Property Management, Rampart Multifamily Property Management, and Wurth Real Estate Services — under the new NAI Rampart brand. The goal, according to CEO Joseph Pappalardo Sr., is to create a seamless, full-service experience for clients throughout the region.
“This evolution allows us to deepen our roots and broaden our impact,” said Pappalardo. “We are doubling down on regional expertise, strategic partnerships, and full-service delivery to help clients thrive in every market we serve.”
NAI Rampart remains a member of NAI Global, the world’s largest network of independently owned commercial real estate firms, giving clients the benefit of global reach with the backing of 5,800 professionals in 325 offices across 65 countries and more than $20 billion in annual real estate transactions.
While the brand is changing, the firm’s personnel, leadership, and statewide office locations will remain the same. The rebrand is expected to enhance technological innovation, recruitment, and regional expansion, setting the stage for long-term growth and deeper community engagement.
