A sweet new addition is headed to the Freret corridor. Cinnaholic, the gourmet vegan bakery known for its fully customizable cinnamon rolls, will open its first Louisiana location in New Orleans on Friday, June 27. The new shop will be located at 4921 Freret Street.

Founded in Atlanta and now boasting more than 90 locations nationwide, Cinnaholic allows customers to design their own cinnamon rolls with over 20 frosting flavors and more than 20 topping choices. All of the bakery’s products are 100% vegan, dairy-free, egg-free, and cholesterol-free, catering to a wide range of dietary needs without compromising on flavor.

The New Orleans store will be locally owned and operated by Keiyanah and Matthew Ratleff. The couple discovered Cinnaholic during the COVID-19 pandemic and quickly became enamored with the brand’s unique concept.

“We were immediately drawn to Cinnaholic because it’s completely customizable—it’s a sweet treat you can make entirely your own,” said Keiyanah Ratleff. “There’s nothing like it in our community, and we believe that New Orleans is going to fall in love with Cinnaholic’s ‘designer cinnamon rolls,’” added Matthew.

To celebrate the grand opening, the bakery will offer $2 signature cinnamon rolls on June 27, with a limit of one per guest.

In addition to their signature rolls, Cinnaholic will serve baby buns, cookies, brownies, and their show-stopping Cinnacakes—layered cinnamon roll cakes perfect for birthdays, weddings, and events. The bakery also offers catering services for gatherings large and small.

Daniel Aldrich, Cinnaholic’s Director of Marketing, emphasized the company’s excitement to debut in Louisiana. “We are excited to continue expanding throughout the U.S. and open our first location in Louisiana. Our team is dedicated to sharing sweet treats made with the highest quality ingredients,” he said.
