New Orleans bounce legend Big Freedia is once again teaming up with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) for what promises to be a show-stopping performance at the Orpheum Theater. The concert is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at 8:00 PM and marks the third collaboration between the Queen of Bounce and the city’s acclaimed symphony.
Following two sold-out performances in 2023 and 2024—including one that spawned a critically praised live album—this latest show is expected to deliver the same electrifying blend of bounce beats and orchestral sound that has captivated local and national audiences.

This year’s event will also serve as a featured performance during the Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Conference, a major national gathering dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ MBA students and professionals. The partnership with ROMBA adds another layer of significance to the concert, spotlighting LGBTQ+ joy and community.
