(NEW ORLEANS, LA) — On Sunday, June 29th from 5-8 PM, community leaders, cultural organizers, and activists will gather at Beauty Kingdom (2101 S Claiborne Ave) for a powerful day rally. The community gathering, a joint effort of the “Super Bowl protester,” Zül-Qarnaįn, and the Palestinian Youth Movement New Orleans, is aimed at building solidarity and consciousness across racial, cultural, and national boundaries.

This grassroots event will feature host Rude Jude, Palestinian DJs, musical performances, free food & drink from Palestinian businesses, gift card giveaways, and more. We also aim to:

– Highlight Black and Palestinian interconnected struggle

– Honor a legacy of solidarity between oppressed peoples globally

– Rally our people toward community-based organizing and sustainable change

“This rally is about truth, unity, and action. For too long, narratives have tried to divide our struggles—but the truth is, Black and Palestinian communities have stood together in resistance and resilience for generations. This is our moment to honor that legacy, raise consciousness, and organize for real, people-powered change that transcends borders.” says Zül-Qarnaįn, one of the organizers of Solidarity Rally.
