NOLA Black Wall Street, a nonprofit focused on empowering Black communities through economic support and wealth-building, will host its 3rd Annual Senior Car Giveaway on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Hang Out NOLA (9954 Lake Forest Blvd #5). The giveaway is the centerpiece of a special Senior Day Party, a lively event celebrating the accomplishments of local high school graduates with food, music, surprise gifts, and a life-changing grand prize: a free car.

“This giveaway is more than just handing over a set of keys—it’s about opening doors,” said Goldie Gasper, founder of NOLA Black Wall Street. “We’re celebrating our graduates with love, encouragement, and real resources to help them move forward.”

To be eligible, students must be New Orleans residents, provide proof of high school graduation, and attend the event in person. Those under 18 must bring a parent or legal guardian. The giveaway is open to all graduating seniors in the city who meet the requirements.

The car is being sponsored by Ari Tucker, CEO of Legally Max Tax, Let’s Keep It Trucking, Kool Kids Krayola Academy, PJ’s Coffee, and Smoothie King (two participating locations). Tucker’s generous contribution reflects a growing network of local businesses committed to helping New Orleans youth thrive.

In addition to the car giveaway, attendees can expect an atmosphere of celebration and empowerment. NOLA Black Wall Street aims to send these graduates off not only with recognition but also with real tools to navigate adulthood.

The Senior Car Giveaway is part of the nonprofit’s broader mission to promote generational wealth, business development, and community advancement by keeping the “Black dollar” circulating within the culture. Through events like this, NOLA Black Wall Street is turning vision into action one student and one opportunity at a time.

Donations to support this initiative can be sent via CashApp to $NolaBlackWallStreet. Those interested in partnering or contributing in other ways can email NOLABLACKWALLSTREET@gmail.com.
