Public Invited to Engage with Candidates Ahead of October Elections
August 8, 2025, NEW ORLEANS—Following their well-attended candidate forums for Mayor, City Council District D and E, City Council At-Large, and Sheriff, Step Up for Action is hosting their final candidate forum for City Council District A. The final forum in their series is virtual and provides an opportunity for community members to hear directly from candidates and ask questions.

The event is free and open to the public. This candidate forum series aims to foster informed voting decisions and encourage community engagement in the upcoming October 11 elections. Community members are encouraged to attend and participate in the dialogue around candidates’ plans for good jobs, good schools and healthy environments.
