On October 18, 2025, more than 8,000 New Orleanians are expected to participate in the NO KINGS 2.0 Rally to peacefully and publicly show opposition against the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration. This is part of National No Kings Day of Peaceful Action; more than 2,500 protest demonstrations will be held throughout the U.S. on the same day, including 10 Louisiana locations: New Orleans, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Hammond, Leesville, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe, Rustin and Shreveport. New Orleans is 1 of 10 “anchor cities” that has been selected by the National Indivisible Project. You can see all 10 anchor cities indicated with a star on the map here: https://www.nokings.org/. Local organizers are receiving event and security guidance from national partners to safely accommodate a historic turn-out.
Indivisible NOLA is the New Orleans chapter of the National Indivisible Project, a volunteer-driven social movement.
