Anticipated Halloween events return to Carousel Gardens, Storyland
City Park Conservancy (CPC) invites guests to enjoy an out-of-this-world October when Ghosts in the Oaks and Brews and Boos land in the Heart of the City.
The fall fundraisers’ theme is Outer Space, bringing a cosmic component to spooky season in New Orleans City Park. But unlike in space, your screams can be heard.
“This is absolutely one of our favorite times of year in the Park,” said CPC Director of Attractions & Visitor Services Megan Bourgault. “Our team takes delight in getting Carousel Gardens and Storyland ready for spooky season. We welcome astronauts and extraterrestrials of all ages to experience it.”
Ghosts in the Oaks (October 15-18) features four nights of family friendly fun, trick-or-treat path through the Historic Train Garden, unlimited amusement-park rides, activities, and live entertainment. Early Admittance Admission tickets are $35, General Admission $30, and Friends of City Park Members receive $5 off General Admission tickets. Children 2 and under admitted free.
Brews and Boos (October 23-24) boasts adults-only access to Carousel Gardens, including unlimited amusement-park rides, and open beer bars for $45 – Friends of City Park Members receive $5 off General Admission tickets. The VIP Storyland experience comes complete with full open bar, seating, and special treats for $70. Must be 21 and up to attend.
Tickets for both events are on sale now and are limited. All tickets will be sold online and in advance. City Park events and facilities are cashless.
