DESCRIPTION:Our first ever FOURTH of JULY FEST is everything you'd want for
  a hot dog-filled 4th of July. We're celebrating a decade of Son of a Sain
 t 'Dogs and announcing the WINNER of this year's SON OF A SAINT 'DOG CONTE
 ST. We're also kicking off our first HOT DOG EATING CONTEST with a cash pr
 ize of $500!! Here's what's happening 7/4 at Dat Dog Freret\, 4-6pm\n\n4
 pm: We're starting with the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Son
  of a Saint 'Dog with LIVE MUSIC and FREE SAMPLES of the contest finalists
 ' hot dog creations. Towards the end of the hour the 2024-2025 WINNER of t
 he SON OF SAINT 'DOG CONTEST will be announced\, with much fanfare! The wi
 nning 'dog will join our menu for the next year and partial proceeds from 
 each sale will be donated to the Son of a Saint organization and their men
 torship programs for fatherless boys in New Orleans.\n\n5pm: Our FIRST EV
 ER HOT DOG EATING CONTEST begins with the introduction of the six competit
 ors and a run down of the rules. Whoever can eat the most hot dogs in 10 m
 inutes\, then keep it all down for the next 10\, will take home the $500 C
 ASH PRIZE. Move over Joey Chestnut!\n\n6pm Until: Drinking and eating to
