This summer, NOMA presents Soul-Sip, an art and wine series blending the sacred and social elements of guided meditation and wine appreciation to relax the mind, elevate the seven senses, and savor delicious sips of wine.
Perceptions about the cultural practices in museums are ever-changing. However, one thing consistent within the culture of museums is receptions that include wine. Wine is among humankind’s oldest beverages, regularly appearing in museums and pictured in paintings authenticated by ancient distilling pottery. It is the beverage of choice to mark exhibition openings, closings, receptions, and other special occasions.
The evening includes guided meditation, wine-tasting instruction, a curated wine flight, small bites from Cafe NOMA, a discussion of select wine-related artwork from NOMA’s permanent collection, and a little lagniappe!
General Admission $95 | NOMA Members $75
