Threat of Rail Strike Rising Again; Mark Meadows Ordered to Testify; Lawsuit Filed to Stop Voter Intimidation in Arizona

Rank and file members of a second rail union have rejected a tentative labor deal. Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has been ordered to appear before an Atlanta-area grand jury. The Arizona chapter of the League of Women Voters has filed a federal lawsuit in the hope of preventing vigilante groups from engaging in voter intimidation.

Rail unions negotiated a tentative agreement Thursday, narrowly avoiding a nationwide rail strike. Republican Govs. Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard and Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in DC is a “cruel, premeditated political stunt.” Chinese leader Xi Jinping has "questions and concerns" over Russia's faltering invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted on Thursday.
