Rank and file members of a second rail union have rejected a tentative labor deal. Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has been ordered to appear before an Atlanta-area grand jury. The Arizona chapter of the League of Women Voters has filed a federal lawsuit in the hope of preventing vigilante groups from engaging in voter intimidation.

Republican Govs. Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard and Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in DC is a “cruel, premeditated political stunt.” Chinese leader Xi Jinping has "questions and concerns" over Russia's faltering invasion of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted on Thursday.
